Siyuan Cheng [程思元]

I am a Senior Backend Engineer at Shopee Singapore, where I work on large-scale recommendation systems, observability platforms, and AI-agent applications. My work mainly involves building reliable backend infrastructure with C++ and Go, improving system resilience, and developing tools for production monitoring and troubleshooting.

My current interests include distributed systems, recommendation systems, AI agents, and AI infrastructure. I enjoy exploring how modern AI capabilities can be integrated into practical engineering workflows and production systems.

Before that, I received my M.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and my B.Eng. in New Energy Materials and Devices from Wuhan University of Technology.
